wow. That's horrifying. It reminds me of a family that lives (lived?) near my mom's church. It wasn't just their house, but their cars too were completely stuffed full to the absolute brims with newspapers and junk. Yard full of overgrown weeds. I think the neighbors called the fire dept to have them come and talk to the people because it was an obvious hazard.

Thanks for adding me to your blog list, I'm honored. Yup, people like the folks near your mom's church frequently get into trouble with the local law but it's a tricky problem to solve since hoarding seems to be related to serotonin levels or some such.
